The Arkansas Ozarks Outdoor Expo is pleased to offer 50 primitive boon docking campsites located on property adjacent to the Baxter County Fairgrounds. These sites are ideal for those looking to enjoy a self-contained outdoor experience while being part of a community of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts.
Boondocking sites are available to both vendors and participants.
Vendor Sites: Three nights — Thursday, October 1 through Saturday, October 3
Participant/Visitor Sites: Two nights — Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3
Hike-in access only from the designated parking lot
Two (2) parking spaces will be assigned per campsite
Each campsite measures 35’ x 35’
Travel Trailers or motorhomes must fit within the campsite footprint
Maximum of 6 campers per site
Maximum of 1 additional tent per site
Camping is permitted only within your assigned area
No ground fires allowed
Fires must be contained in an approved above-ground fire pan or fire pit
Do not build open or charcoal fires directly on the ground
Fire restrictions may change due to weather or high fire danger—always comply with current rules
Never leave a fire unattended
Fully extinguish fires before leaving the site or sleeping:
Pour water on embers
Stir thoroughly
Ensure ashes are cool to the touch
Pack out all trash and personal belongings
Respect the land—leave your campsite as you found it
Portable toilets will be provided
No showers or water hookups available
Do not use water spigots from ASU buildings or on Fairgrounds property
Do not enter ASU buildings unless explicitly open to the public
