Primitive Campsite

Arkansas Ozarks Outdoor Expo is excited to provide 100 primitive campsites on property adjacent to the Baxter County Fairgrounds for those who would like to enjoy the outdoors, and the a community atmosphere of like minded people. Campsites are available for vendors and participants:

Vendors sites are available for three nights Thursday October 1 - Saturday October 3
Participants/visitors sites are available for two nights, Friday October 2 and Saturday October 3

Access & Parking

  • Hike-in only from the designated parking lot.

  • Two (2) parking spaces will be assigned to each campsite.

Campsite Details

  • Each campsite measures 35’ x 35’.

  • A maximum of 2 tents and 6 individuals are allowed per site.

  • Camp only in your assigned area.

🔥 Fire Regulations

  • No ground fires allowed.

  • Fires must be contained in an approved above-ground fire pan or pit.

  • Do not build open or charcoal fires directly on the ground, even if it seems safe.

  • Always check for fire restrictions before lighting a fire—rules may change during high fire danger periods.

  • Never leave a fire unattended.

  • Extinguish fires completely before leaving or sleeping:

    • Pour water on embers

    • Stir with a shovel

    • Ensure they are cool to the touch

🚯 Leave No Trace

  • Pack out all trash and belongings.

  • Respect nature—leave your site as you found it.

🚻 Facilities & Restrictions

  • Portable toilets will be provided.

  • No shower facilities or water are available.

  • Do not use water spigots from ASU buildings.

  • Do not enter ASU buildings unless they are explicitly open to the public.
